November Comes Early

This kind of cold wet snow and rain usually comes in November, but this year we're getting it in October.

I'm getting worried and excited by the number of snow pictures that I've seen in the last seven days. We've not had big snowfalls here for a number of years, just a day here and a day there. I'd love a nice big one that throws snow for a week.

Does your early snow in Canada, the USA, Germany, and Austria give a general indication of a tough winter ahead?

Curly, it's hard to say what the winter will be like. The only consistent thing over the past ten years is that the winter is completely unpredictable. Within the last five years we had both the least snowy and the most snowy winters on record.

Oh yeah it seem like we are gonna have a rocking winter...I love snow so am all too excited! Thanks for pointing out the spelling of Franconia in my place...sheesh what a blunder I did there :)
